What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about EARL BENNETT: Vanderbilt, 5114 209 4.51. Junior entry. Two and a half year starter. Above average athlete. Productive over his career. All-time SEC leader in receptions. Cradle catches the ball over the middle and covers up in traffic. Has good hands and the ability to control his body in the air. Separates with a burst out of his cuts. Creates space to catch the ball. Runs strong routes and comes out of them smoothly. Has faking and cutting ability. Quicker than fast. Drops his weight and is decisive out of breaks. Can get lateral separation. Build like a running back and can break tackles after catch with strength. Is dependable and reliable in the clutch. Lacks elite speed, but is sneaky fast. Average blocker. Bench pressed 15 reps and had a 7.05/3 cone. OSR:34/52. Fourth/ fifth round. (A-32 1/8, H-9 1/2, SS-4.25, VJ-26).
