What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about DAVID HARRIS: Michigan, 6022 243 4.62. A two-year starter that is aggressive and hardnosed in his play. Sudden initial quickness. Gets downhill in a hurry. Adjusts well on the move and has good body control and overall change of direction. Does a solid job of filling the running lanes and stacking a block. Quick to shed and ward off blocks. Good ability to slip and redirect off the block. A zone aware player that gets good depth in his pass drops. Can stick his foot in the ground and drive quickly on the ball in front of him. Plays with his eyes to see a play develop and react accordingly. Takes good pursuit angles downfield and runs through the ball carrier. Durability may be a question because of time missed with knee injuries. Has some upper and lower body tightness. Inconsistent blitzer. Rarely out of control, but will overrun the ball at times. Active and productive. Instinctive with a nose for the ball. Will step up and explode on a back versus an inside run. Sideline to sideline player. Good lateral quickness. Gets through traffic to make plays. Solid wrap up tackler. Competitive athlete that can play in coverage. Good player that is smart and aware. Second round. (A-32 7/8, H-9 1/8, BP-23, SS-4.30).
