Draft Rewind 2006 - Jeromey Clary - San Diego Chargers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JEROMEY CLARY: Kansas State, 6061 309 5.27. Three-year starter. Angular and slender build. Plays with a wide base. Will get driven back if he doesn’t play with good knee bend. Tendency to play high. Physical on down and combination blocks to second level. Athletic workout was in the middle of 43 linemen at the Combine. Long arms. Average body control and the ability to block in space. Better in a confined area. Position/wall off blocker. Not an explosive player. Average first step quickness. Inconsistent to lock on and control defender. Will lose his feet and go to the ground if he lunges. Some waist bend at times. High on pulls. Walls off support player. Inconsistent to finish his blocks. Has the frame to get bigger and stronger. Fifth/sixth round. (A-33 1/2, H-9 1/4, BP-DNP, 10-1.85).

Draft Rewind 2009 - Josh Freeman - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JOSH FREEMAN: Kansas State, 6056 248 4.95. Junior entry. Three-year starter. Right handed. Good athletic ability. Plays under center and in the shotgun formations. Big drop back athlete with ability to escape the rush or side step it. A work in progress. Has good enough arm strength and has improved his game every year. Major concerns are decision making. Will throw into double coverage, throw the fade routes up for grabs, and is careless with the ball. Needs work on accuracy with anticipation. Question ability to extend a play for positive results. Footwork needs more balance with crossover and rhythm steps. Long and deliberate release instead of compact. Not an instinctive player that plays under control. At times it looks like the game is a blur to him. Better at throwing short ball control routes under ten yards. Is still maturing as a leader and student of the game. Has undeniable tools to play on Sunday, but is years away in a complex offense. High risk selection. Ball velocity 57 mph. OSR:7/21. Second round. (A-32 3/4, H-10, VJ-33.5, SS-4.45).

Draft Rewind 2008 - Jordy Nelson - Green Bay Packers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JORDY NELSON: Kansas State, 6025 217 4.55. Three-year starter. Productive. Soft suction cup type hands. Will reach and extend for the ball. Competitive receiver that will catch the ball in between the hash marks. Quick double moves and creates space. Good concentration and body control to make the tough catch. Focus in the crowd. Gets open. Big slot type receiver that can create a mismatch. Runs strong after catch. Always going forward. Not easy to bring down. Clutch third down receiver. Can elude or run over a tackler. Mentally and physically tough. Plays fast and with a good tempo. Consistent off the ball. Escapes press. All the Kansas State opponents knew he was going to get the ball and he still escaped and made the catch (122-1606 yards, 13.2 ypc, 11 TDs). Drops his weight in and out of cuts. Gives effort to block. Needs to finish better. OSR:15/52. Third/fourth round. (A-32 1/2, H-10, SS-4.37, VJ-31).

Mark Ingram and 2011 NFL Draft Running backs Notes

Runningback Nuggets for 2011 Draft...

We have ranked the players listed by
a special Ourlads’ formula we call OSR. When a prospect has an OSR rating
of 15/17, for example, he rated 15th out of the 17 athletes at his position.
Athletes are listed by position alphabetically. Each workout field is weighted
to the importance of the position – i.e.: for quarterbacks – height, the short
shuttle, 3 cone drill, and Wonderlic test are the most important. Broad jump,
vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and 20-yard dash are also important, but not as
important as the first four mentioned. The numbers recorded next to a
prospect’s name exceeded the previous year’s Combine average or Pro Bowl
players’ averages for the past five years. If there is only an OSR rating, the
athlete did not exceed any of the previous position averages.
