Draft Rewind 2005 - Adam Snyder - Arizona Cardinals

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about ADAM SNYDER: Oregon, 6053 313 5.37. Three-year starter. Played both right and left tackle. Also spent some time at right guard. He is projected inside at a guard because he struggles to block edge speed. Physical and tough player. Average foot quickness and lateral movement. Inconsistent to use techniques. Will play high and waist bend in pass protection. Feet are heavy and average. Can sit down and anchor versus the bull rush. Try hard effort player. Mauler in run blocks. Usually gets help from back in pass protection. Physical on down blocks. Maintains position on defender in pass protection. Will run his feet if he locks on defensive tackle. Generally keeps his hands inside the frame and steers defender. Better run blocker than a pass protector. Will struggle to redirect. Has fits with a two move player. Fourth or fifth round. May go lower with limited athletic ability. Originally drafted by San Francisco.

Draft Rewind 2009 - Max Unger - Seattle Seahawks

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about MAX UNGER: Oregon, 6046 309 5.26. Four-year starter. Versatile offensive lineman that has experience at all five positions on the offensive line. His best position may be center. Plays with a good base in pass protection where he can redirect with body control and balance. Effective mirror and slide. Nifty feet. Strong drive blocker. Plays the game on his feet. Rarely on the ground. Good balance. Works to finish his blocks. A good leader that makes all the line calls from the center position. Possesses the quickness to make a cut off block on a defensive tackle or control a middle linebacker. Has the strength to block back (choke block) and cut off a defensive tackle on a trap up the middle and can block nose tackles with leverage. Senior Bowl report: good use of hands. Scrappy. High in pulls. Generally kept his hands inside the frame and on the breast plate to control defender. Solid punch and lockout in pass protection. OSR:31/47. Second round. (A-32 1/2, H-9 1/4, BP-22, 10-1.78).

Draft Rewind 2006 - Haloti Ngata - Baltimore Ravens

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about HALOTI NGATA: Oregon, 6041 338 5.13. Junior eligible. Three-year starter. Looks the part physically. Big thick body. Against Southern Cal he made one tackle late in the game. Matua dominated him the whole game. His career is checkered with inconsistency. Slow twitch player. First move is up. Turns his back on a spin move and loses ball. No inside pressure when he’s single blocked. Rarely makes a play. Gets tied up and neutralized. Gets his shoulders turned. Doesn’t push the pocket with strength. Plays high. Question instincts. He must see the ball to go to it. Inconsistent to feel pressure. Loses feet in traffic. Will drop into zone blitz coverage. Leans on blockers. Question functional strength. Gets pinned by a single block. Stands on the line of scrimmage. Jogs in pursuit. Gets driven off ball in goal line defense. Inconsistent to fight pressure. Stops feet on contact. Can get driven back by a single base block because he plays high, not low. Takes too many plays off. Batted down six kicks. Needs to improve his use of hands. Gets hung up on the blocker. Not an impressive pass rusher (3 sacks). Needs technique work. Possibly a two-gap run stuffer as a nose or a 4-3 tackle. Question concentration. Has had several offside penalties. Durability and endurance are two big questions. First round. (A-33 1/8, H-9 7/8, BP-37, 10-1.74).

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JONATHAN STEWART: Oregon, 5102 235 4.48. Junior entry. Two-year starter. Plays in a one back spread offense. Strong runner that can drag tacklers. Picks his way through traffic. Suffered a turf toe injury to his right foot against UCLA. Cut back running in zone blocking scheme. Understands and sees the cut back lanes. Patient to let the blocking set up. Powerfully built lower body. When in the I-formation, he slows to cut and doesn’t run with as much power (may be his toe injury in certain tapes.) Catches the ball in his hands and runs with power. Not overly elusive. Has an injury history over career. Toe surgery March 10, 2008 - out for 4-6 months. OSR:3/33. First/ second round. Brandon Bair, 2011 Undrafted Free Agent, Defensive End

Bair, Brandon Oregon 6057 283 4.93
Two-year starter who plays defensive tackle, but projects as a
3-4 defensive end. Has the frame to carry more weight. Great
effort player who gets push up front. Good awareness to get his
hands up in the passing lanes. Will compete. A better athlete than
he gets credit for. He was fifth out of 25 defensive tackles in our
OSR ratings. He must work to keep his pad level down. Has a wiry
type strength. A developmental defensive end.
For complete report see Ourlads' Guide to the NFL Draft.

Jeff Maehl, 2011 Undrafted Free Agent, Wide Receiver

Maehl, Jeff Oregon 6007 190 4.59
Three-year starter. Slender build. A good route runner. Consistent
and reliable hands. Struggles to separate in man to man coverage.
Quick feet to get off press however. A former corner who was
moved to wide receiver. Snatches the ball on bubble screens and
has an upfield burst. Will go up in a crowd for the ball at the high
point and come down with it. Was a better route runner in 2010
when he learned how to separate from defensive backs. Caught
at least one pass in 34 consecutive games to end his career. In
the BCS Championship game he caught 9 passes for 133 yards,
including a BCS record, 81-yard catch. Also caught a 2-point
conversion pass. A clutch receiver who is a producer, not a
potential guy.
