What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about TRACY PORTER: Indiana, 5102 190 4.46. Four-year starter. Sixteen career interceptions. Not a physical player. More of a man to man cover corner. Fluid hips. Can stick his foot in the ground and drive quickly on the ball in front of him. Good ball skills. Has long speed. A burst to close on the ball in the air. Sudden change of direction. Mirrors receivers. Struggles in run support and misses as many plays as he makes. Inconsistent tackler. Has talent and athletic ability for the position. Will also contribute as a punt return specialist. May be a backup, not a feature returner. Has played only five years of football, including one year in high school. Put up 18 reps of 225 at the Combine. Was second all-time in Indiana history with 16 interceptions. Needs technique work to combine with his athletic ability. Has rare tools, but needs refinement. OSR:10/32. BTR:left 4.40, right 4.53. Second/third round. (A-32, H-9 3/8, SS-4.09, VJ-35.5).

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about RODGER SAFFOLD: Indiana, 6044 312 5.22. Three-and-a-half year starter. Nickname should be Baskin Robbins because he can satisfy so many tastes. Can play one of four positions of either guard or tackle. Plays with a good base as a run blocker and pass protector. Shuffles his feet and mirrors edge pass rushers. Quick to redirect. Strong week of practice for the East-West Shrine game. The most dominant offensive lineman on either team. Played left tackle in a spread offensive scheme for the Hoosiers and lined up in a two point preset stance. A good athlete with long arms. Has the foot quickness and body control to handle speed rushers. Did a good job in the Wisconsin game to handle speed rusher O’Brien Schofield and his spin moves. Is alert picking up the blitz or line stunts. Maintains good foot balance. Had some good battles with Iowa’s Adrian Clayborn. A power and two move player. Saffold is a better pass protector at this point than a smash mouth run blocker simply because he wasn’t asked to do it. A position wall off run blocker with good lateral quickness. Smart and bright-eyed. At the Combine had 9-2/BJ, 29.5/VJ, 4.68/SS, and 7.43/3 cone. OSR:16/40. Second/ third round. (A-33 1/4, H-9 1/4, BP-27, 10-1.80).

Doss, Tandon Indiana 6020 201 4.60
Junior entry. Two-year starter with outstanding hands to pluck the ball. Has made several circus type catches over career. Secures the ball after catch. Was a feature receiver in the Hoosier offense. Also used on fly sweeps in the spread. Long legs hinder his ability to come out of a break with burst. Good awareness and instincts. Ability to find open spots in zone. Can read coverages and make adjustments at the snap. A possession type receiver who runs under and hide type routes. A straight line type kickoff returner. Usually not played with press coverages in the slot, but struggles when he is pressed. For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.

Brewer, James Indiana 6062 323 5.27
Two-year starter. A big man with long arms and big hands. A right tackle only who struggles with wide speed rushers. When he doesn’t play with knee bend he can get put on skates and rolled back to the quarterback. Average athletic ability and initial quickness out of his stance. More push than pop in his punch. Lacks functional strength to anchor a bull rush. A forced, not natural, knee bender. Uses his size to mirror and screen off pass rushers. Flashes some set quickness, quick feet, and slide shuffle. Inconsistent in his overall play. Flashes NFL skills but does not play to the skills. Question awareness, gets beat inside, takes bad angles to the second level and will hand fight with defensive ends. Has a chance to play on Sunday because of measurables if he gets pro physical technique work and development. For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.

Turner, Terrance Indiana 6016 220 4.62
Three-year starter. Team captain. Has good run after catch
ability. Played in a spread offense that featured bubble screens,
outs, hitches, and quick slants. Catches the ball in his soft hands.
Will reach and extend for the ball away from his body. Catches the ball with an intent to run. Natural running motion. Can break a tackle. Finishes play. A good athlete and a competitor with good football character. Will come off the corner and block a safety. Has rare leaping ability to go with his reliable hands. Will double move a corner or a safety down the field. A developmental receiver with good tools.
For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.
