Ricardo Lockette, 2011 Undrafted Free Agent, Wide Receiver

Lockette, Ricardo Fort Valley St. 6021 211 4.37
One-year starter. A speed receiver who needs route development.
Flashes quickness and a third gear burst. Played in the Texas
versus Nation game. He had several drops and looked like he
lacked confidence in his hands. His drops were off his chest,
trying to trap or cradle the ball. A track athlete who is a size and
speed prospect with inconsistent skills. Production at a lower level
of competition was mediocre at best. A developmental player with
draftable qualities.

2011 Undrafted Free Agent, Terrence Toliver,Wide Receiver

Toliver, Terrence LSU 6035 211 4.59
Two-year starter who is a big West Coast type wide receiver
that runs slants, catches in a crowd, and is a stick and stay
blocker. Toliver was not as productive as his talent warrants,
due to the inconsistent play of the quarterbacks. Saved his big
game for last with a sterling performance against Texas A&M
in the Cotton Bowl. Caught two touchdown passes all season
before his three against the Aggies. A big target with run after
catch ability. Hands are inconsistent. Can make the tough catch
or drop the routine pass. Struggles to drop his weight in and out
of his cuts because of long legs. Picks up speed as he goes down
the field. Can track and catch the deep overhead ball. Has some
run after catch ability. Slippery after catch.

2011 Free Agent Wide Receivers...

The most important factor used to compile the free agent rankings is the
player’s ability and performance on the field. Next is the age and time factor,
especially players over the age of thirty. We then look at durability and injury
issues with the older veterans. Lastly, we evaluate the intangible areas (i.e.:
attitude, work ethic, and off-field troubles) as those red flags often follow a
player to his new team. Restricted free agents rarely move. The players are
ranked in order of their value. Keep in mind that maintenance of this list is
ongoing. Minor errors or omissions are possible. For example, when a player
signs during the season, his new contract’s expiration date is sometimes unclear.
It is likely that a few players are even now negotiating new or extended contracts
with their team. The following signings are as of March 14, 2011.

T – Tendered by current team
