What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about CHRIS KUPER: North Dakota, 6043 301 5.10. Three-year starter. Tough, quick-footed, physical, and competitive. Showed good quickness, but has a tendency to get high on pulls. Quick learner in the East-West game. Very coachable in practice. Seldom did he make the same mistake twice. Thick lower body. Is athletic and nimble-footed. Smooth to mirror and slide in pass protection. Good in space. Can read on the run and adjust in space. Only Guy Whimper and Daryn Colledge had better Combine workouts at the guard position. Explosive first step. Plays with leverage to position and wall off defender. Moves easily on second level. Good effort and body control. Can open his hips up and run the defender up the field. Raw in pass protection, but has the tools. Needs technique work. Good punch. Enjoys the game. Fourth or fifth round. (A-32 3/4, H-9 1/4, BP-30, 10-1.75).
