What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about VLADIMIR DUCASSE: Massachusetts, 6045 326 5.27. Three-year starter with good size and arm length for the position. Talented but raw in his overall play. Struggles against the edge speed counter moves. Will overextend at times and waist bend instead of sliding his feet in pass protection. Not a long torso guy but is a good athlete with balance despite long legs. Had problems in the Senior Bowl with the speed and power that he wasn’t accustomed to playing against. Dominated his level of competition in college when he put his mind to it. A native of Haiti. Has played only six years of football. Flashes good initial quickness in the run game and the ability to drive a down lineman off the ball. Has a tendency to lose his knee bend and get up on his toes in pass protection. Plays with wide base at left tackle in college. Some teams may project him inside to guard to block the 4-3 tackles. Needs technique work in every phase of his game. Can improve his hand use as a pass protector. OSR:12/40. Second/third round. (A-34 3/4, H-9 1/4, BP-29, 10-1.80).
