What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JOSEPH ADDAI: LSU, 5112 214 4.42. Started 18 games over five years. A slashing runner with rare speed. A burst to turn the corner. Thick hips and thighs. Tendency to run high. Strong and explosive back that breaks tackles. Sudden initial quickness with no hitch step. Has a burst to get up the field quickly after catch. Effective chip blocker. Stays on his feet in pass protection. Mirrors and slides his feet. Willing and effective blocker. Good lower body strength to run through tacklers and finish runs. Will contribute on special teams in kickoffs and coverage teams. Catches the ball away from his body. Good hands. Was a third down back in 2004. Has the speed and strength to be a feature back. Downhill runner that runs North and South. Covers up the ball in traffic. Graded out 2nd athletically at the Combine after Jerious Norwood. An impressive workout, including 18 reps with 225 pounds in the bench press. The most explosive 10 time of any back with 1.51 seconds over 10 yards. Good week of practice.
