Started 15 games over his career. A sure handed reliable hand
catcher. Rarely drops a ball. A complete tight end with good
athletic ability. Can adjust to the high throw behind him. Good
run after catch on tight end screens. Holds ball on contact. In
the Orange Bowl he took a short pass in the flat and ran 54
yards. Has some lower body strength to break tackles. A
productive and willing inline blocker. Plays with balance and a
good base. Secures the point of attack. Wall off, stick and stay
blocker. Plays with knee bend and good footwork. Long arms to
lock out and play with leverage. Gets body in position to block
linebackers. Breaks down well to position and slide his feet.
Durability concerns will determine his draft status. OSR:8/13.
