Jah Reid, Baltimore Ravens, 85th Pick, 3rd Round, 2011 NFL Draft

Reid, Jah Central Florida 6071 327 5.35
Three-year starter. Team captain. Started 41 games at right tackle. Long torso which is a good trait. Has some interesting tools, but plays more angular than with bent knees. Can run a pass rusher up the field, but loses his feet in the run game at times. Long arms and big hands for the position. Needs to develop more upper and lower body strength. Tests out as a better athlete than he appears at times on film. Uses that steering wheel on a defender’s chest and drives him into the pile. Plays with a passion for the game. Looks like he enjoys playing. Maintains his balance when sliding with the defender. Works to sustain his run blocks. Generally plays with a good base. Will waist bend at times, but doesn’t go to the ground. Will upgrade a current need backup. A developing prospect. For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.
