Four-year starter who is a good effort player with the tools to develop. Will need to improve more functional strength to handle inside power players. Dominates players at his level of competition. Two-time team captain who is athletic and intense in his play. Mentally tough. Started his career as a linebacker. Spent the week at the Senior Bowl getting accustomed to the speed and power of the game. Good first step quickness, plays on his feet, and works to finish. Flashes explosiveness when he bends his knees. Must learn to redirect and shift his weight quickly to beat an opponent. His hands are out of sync with his feet. Keeps a good base and stays square. Too high to anchor against power. Must keep his pads down. Fusco has the raw material to play on Sundays. His breakdowns come from lack of technique. In a nutshell, he lacks position skill level but is a developing size, intelligent, and athletic prospect. For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.
