Four-year starter with good arm strength and football intelligence. Plays in a drop back pro style offense. Heavy feet. Below average mobility. Productive over his career. Very average accuracy with a career completion of 54.6%. Threw five interceptions against Nebraska in 2010. Three were tipped passes. Has a tight compact delivery and a quick release. Ball placement to receivers is inconsistent. Footwork in the pocket and his ability to reset his body with balance is below average. Doesn’t appear to have that “sixth sense” in the pocket to feel and adjust to pressure. Uses poor judgment at times forcing the ball under pressure. Played in the Shrine East/West and the Texas versus Nation games. His accuracy was off at both venues. For complete report see Ourlads Guide to the NFL Draft.
