Draft Rewind 2009 - Tyson Jackson - Kansas City Chiefs

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about TYSON JACKSON: LSU, 6041 296 4.95. Three-year starter that projects to a versatile 3-4 edge end or a 4- 3 tackle. Does not always play to his athletic numbers. Has a ton of God-given abilities but only uses it in flashes. Very athletic for a big man. May be asked to do too much and gets paralysis by analysis. Question instincts at times. Looks more like a run stuffing left end. Can hold his ground against double teams. Quick enough to get into the pass rush once he releases. Has quick hands and feet plus all the measurables – size, strength, and speed. Long arms and big hands. Will be drafted as a run stopper, not a pass rusher. He does have 18 1/2 sacks in his career. May be able to take advantage of single blocks and create pressure. Has been durable over his career. Edge speed:left 2.18, right 2.24. OSR:26/30. First/second round. (A-34 3/4, H-10, BP-20, 10-1.72).
