What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about CRAIG STEVENS: California, 6032 254 4.64. Three-year starter that is a physical blocker. Can seal the edge. Takes advantage of his big hands and long arms. Runs precise patterns. Generally a sure handed receiver, but had several drops in Shrine practices. Strong run after catch. Plays with good balance. Sudden first step quickness into blocking target. Plays with a good base when mirroring and sliding in pass protection. Works to finish blocks. Can be overpowered by defensive ends at times. Blocks well in space against defensive backs and linebackers. Feisty, scrappy type blocker. Good technique player. Can uncover better in short areas than down the field. Consistent in his overall play. Good leadership and is durable. Catches ball in his hands or will body catch and trap it. Should contribute early in his career. Had 17 catches for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns. OSR:4/16. Fourth/fifth round. (A-33 1/8, H-10 1/8, BP-27, VJ-27.5).
