Big strong hands and arms long enough to make a difference. Nose for the ball. Excellent recognition of run or pass. Accurate and quick recognition to what he reads. Disciplined, accurate, and dependable. Versatile. May be a safety with corner skills. Good wrap up tackler. Tough on run support. Reacts quickly to run reads. Has the size and strength to string out a play. Sudden to close. Stays on his feet. Can judge and compete for the ball at its highest point. Always in position to make a move on the ball. Has a burst. Good technique in man coverage. Gets and keeps position on his man. Good footwork. Dependable open field tackler that will wrap or run through you with a shoulder hit. Good hands to snatch the ball. Excellent anticipation and closing quicks. Good range. Takes good angles. Can cover hash to sideline.
