What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about MARCUS MCNEILL: Auburn, 6075 336 5.07. Started 37 games. A huge athletic left tackle with long arms and big hands. Plays on his feet and keeps a good base in run and pass blocking. Waist bender but moves his feet. Pushes the defender out of the hole. Hop slides his feet at times but positions and walls off defender in pass protection. Angular man that can pull and bury target. Has a punch that can stun a pass rusher. Competes. Walls off defender from the quarterback. Not always pretty, but is effective. Can stop a charge despite height. Functionally strong. Explosive. Can generate power. Will drop his head in pass protection at times. Raw talent that needs pass protection technique work. Was one of the top four tackles in the athletic workout at the Combine. First or second round. (A-35 3/8, H-10 1/2, BP-DNP, 10-1.79).
