What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about DUSTIN KELLER: Purdue, 6020 242 4.58. Two-year starter that is a good athlete with long arms and big hands. Former wide receiver. Good hands. Will double catch ball at times. Not always smooth. Experienced in a passing offense. Can read coverages. Will compete for ball in the air or in traffic. Plays tight end in a spread offense and will also line up as a wingback. Recognizes coverages. Can sit down in the open area. Extends his arms and runs his feet to screen and wall off defender. Narrows his base on a drive block. Clutch third down receiver. Must always secure the ball after catch. Runs seams and crossing routes. No hold up on the line of scrimmage. Gets off the line smoothly and gets into his route. Good concentration and focus. Not a big target, but an athletic and aware tight end. Indiana State high jump champion as a senior in high school. Productive with 68 catches for 881 yards and 7 touchdowns. Dallas Clark and Kellen Winslow are two tight ends with similar speed. OSR:2/16. Second/third round. (A-33, H-10 3/8, BP-26, VJ-38).
