Draft Rewind 2007 - Dwayne Bowe - Kansas City Chiefs

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about DWAYNE BOWE: LSU, 6022 221 4.57. Three-year starter that is productive. A competitor with size, athletic ability, and speed for the position. Long arms and big hands. Catches the ball in his hands, extended away from his body. Runs with power after the catch. Can get off the jam with strength and quickness. Is tough to reroute. Will block downfield. Stays squared up. Can mirror and wall off defender. Comes off the ball quickly. Will layout for a bad ball. Good body control and run after catch ability. Has the size and strength to break tackles. Tough and intense player. Picks up speed going downfield. Will double move a defensive back. Can burst in and out of his cuts. Inconsistent hands. Loses concentration and focus. Creates mismatches with his size and strength. Will catch the ball in a crowd. Good concentration to find the ball in the air and then go get it. Will layout for the low ball. Gets off the line with strength and lateral quickness. Physical player that will block and go across the middle. Can break tackles with lower body strength. Quick reactions to poorly thrown passes. Good ball adjustments. Catches the ball in his hands. Generally a consistent playmaker that rarely drops a catchable ball. Long strider that picks up speed as he goes down the field. More of a power receiver than an elusive one. First round. (A-34 1/4, H-9 5/8, SS-4.37, VJ-33).

Played tight end from 2005-2007. Our top rated athlete at two positions at the Combine - defensive end and tight end. An athletic work in progress. Because of the value of a pass rusher in the NFL, he is projected to line up on the defensive side of the ball. Explosive first step quickness. Plays square. Doesn’t get his shoulders turned. Looks like a natural outside linebacker. He played down in a four point stance. Stays on his feet. Can string out the blocker. Sheds quickly. Good speed and range. Takes smart angles. Good use of hands despite one year at the position. Plays low with good knee bend. Tough and physical in his play. Exceptional playing laterally. Shuffles his feet. Has quickness to slip blocks. Draft Rewind 2009 - BJ Raji - Green Bay Packers

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about BJ RAJI: Boston College, 6014 334 5.15. Three-year starter. Big hands. Shorter arms than ideal. Strong inside presence with first step and lateral quickness. Power player with good athletic ability if he plays low. Wide bodied grass grabber with good balance. Bull rusher that can push the pocket. Tackle to tackle player that lacks the zest to pursue the ball. Lacks stamina and effort. A two gap tackle. Quick but has difficulty disengaging. Tried to power rush too often. Has nimble feet. Not hard to tie up. Slow to disengage and make the tackle. Can neutralize the block, but has inconsistent use of hands to separate from block. Lacks the ability to explode and unlock his hips with force. Flashes some punch, but lacks the ability to control his opponent with effective hand use. Makes his plays when he’s not blocked. Picks his spots to flash. Not a pass rusher. A high maintenance player that needs discipline. Not a self motivator. Will always struggle with his weight. A career underachiever that missed the 2007 season because he was academically ineligible. Did well in shorts the first two days of the Senior Bowl practices. He reverted back to his normal play in full gear during the Senior Bowl game. Boom or bust. OSR:5/ 20. First round. (A-32, H-10 3/8, BP-33, 10-1.72).

Draft Rewind 2007 - Marcus Thomas - Denver Broncos

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about MARCUS THOMAS: Florida, 6026 314 4.96. Three-year starter that was suspended for violating substance abuse policy. He was later dismissed from the team permanently. Explosive and powerful upfield push. Gets penetration and knocks off power running game. Always around the ball. Plays with a high motor. Can stack a double team and hold the point of attack. Strong enough to clog up the middle in the running game and pushes the pocket in the passing game. Keeps feet alive until the whistle blows. Intense and relentless. Sudden on twist stunts. Has long arms. Off field red flags. Gained 5-7 pounds after he was dismissed from team. Played in the Texas versus Nation All-Star game on February 2, 2007. Weighed in at 303. The top defensive interior player heading into the fall. Athletic and skilled. Had an outstanding junior year and came back to increase his draft stock. Draft status will be determined by each team. Before the dismissal he was described as a team player and a great young man. A tough kid that is a self starter. High risk and high reward player. Many questions need to be answered. Second round. (A-33 3/4, H-9 1/4, BP-27, 10-DNP).
