What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about TJ LANG: Eastern Michigan, 6042 312 5.12. Three-year starter. Played left tackle but projects inside at guard. Played in the Texas vs. Nation game. Not a natural knee bender. Competitive and intense in his play. Plays square with balance and leverage. Power type that has some upper body tightness. Aggressive off on snap. Stays with his target and keeps good head position. Flashes some punch and explosiveness. Works to finish. Goes to the whistle. Gets his hands inside frame and can steer defender. Not a smooth athlete. Plays with a good base and is rarely on the ground. Good downfield effort. Can adjust on the run in pulls. Strong upper body but can be bull rushed if he loses his knee bend. Arms are shorter than ideal. Tough, smart player with some maul in him. Did not attend Combine. Sixth round. (A-32 3/4, H-9 5/8, BP-DNP, 10-1.75).
