Plays on his feet. Good balance. Plays with leverage. Struggled in the Senior Bowl with the move from tackle to guard. Lunged and was a waist bender in drills. Was not physical and was beaten off the edge when he played tackle in drills. When the defender got the jump on him, he turned it down. Anchor was below average. Was not agile and didn’t react well to quick defenders. Stopped on contact during pulls. Played left guard in East/West game and was aggressive in the run game. Stayed engaged. Demonstrated good mirror and slide. Was voted Fresno State’s most valuable player. Missed 2003 with a torn right ACL. Should be a solid player, but the Senior Bowl left questions.
