Draft Rewind 2007 - Leroy Harris - Tennessee Titans

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about LEROY HARRIS: North Carolina State, 6024 302 5.33. Four-year starter. Versatile center/guard type. Was a former state wrestling champion. Gains quickness after start. Gains an advantage over defender and gets movement on short yardage and goal-line plays. Quick enough to get position and keep it. Flashes some explosiveness and drives his legs on contact. Will work to sustain on wall off and position blocks. Quick on initial trap block. Can adjust on the run. Good feet and balance on pass pro. Can mirror and slide to keep position on defender. More blue collar than athletic, but does have above average quickness, agility, and balance. Needs more upper and lower body strength after contact. An explosive first step to get into defender. Quick to gain position and wall off defender. Can make the reach, cut block to cut off pursuit. Once he gets his hands on you he can control block. Works to finish and sustain. Takes good angles to second level and locks on linebackers. Shows some ability to anchor the bull rush and is athletic enough to pick up the inside “games.” A good athlete that will compete. Seventh round. (A-33 1/2, H-10 1/4, BP-29, 10-1.87).
