What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about JEREMY MACLIN: Missouri, 6001 198 4.45. Underclassman entry. Red-shirt sophomore. Two-year starter. An electric playmaker with great body control. Can be described as a human highlight film. Complete player. Moved around to disguise him in offense. Plays both sides, inside and outside receiver. Natural catcher. Will extend to catch the ball away from his frame. Doesn’t appear to have any blind spots. Catches the ball over his head and over either shoulder with ease. Makes the circus type catch. Shows a burst off the line to get upfield and separate. Quick out of break. Has the ability to get to a poorly thrown ball. Will need work on deep inside breaking patterns. Snatches the ball on slants and gets upfield. Fluid when running routes off motion. Comes back to the ball. Good adjustments to the ball. Bends his knees and has good hip flexibility. Will jump and make a play over a defender. Natural running after catch. Has open field instincts and elusiveness. Gets to full speed in two strides. Makes the clutch catch in crunch time. Consistent performer that has been productive against good teams. Led the NCAA Division I in all-purpose yardage in 2007 and 2008. Has scored 22 touchdowns receiving, 6 touchdowns rushing, and 5 touchdowns in returns (3 punt and 2 kickoff). Has an injury history that includes a 2006 knee surgery. A natural athlete. OSR:16/38. First round. (A-32 1/4, H-9 1/4, VJ-35.5, SS-4.25)
