What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about GOSDER CHERILUS: Boston College, 6065 313 5.14. Four-year starter. Three-year starter at right tackle. Long arms and big hands to control defenders. Has a frame to carry more weight. Typical Boston College lineman – physical, tough, and competitive. Not always pretty, but effective in doing his job. Feet are more deliberate than quick because of his height. Long limbs. His average foot quickness is a concern in pass protection against speed pass rushers. Has the strength to stop a charge and anchor a bull rush. Can position and wall off in the run game. Can stun a defender and control him with his hands. Gets high at times on pull and fold blocks. Average to recover and redirect in pass pro. Came to the United States from Haiti when he was 14 years old. Probable starting right tackle on Sundays. Played left tackle in 2007 where he was out of position. Can bend his knees and demonstrates good flexibility. Needs work on edge speed and his ability to redirect against two move defenders. Can improve on punching target more than reaching in pass protection. Can be leveraged when he plays high. OSR:15/ 42. Late first/second round. (A-36 1/4, H-11 3/4, BP-24, 10-1.82).
