Active sideline to sideline. Game MVP. Mike McLaughlin (Boston College) – 5116, 236. Physically tough in his play. Quick to read and react. Better run player than pass defender. Shorter than ideal. Joe Pawelek (Baylor) – 6016, 237. Question instincts at times. Always gives a good effort. Plays square. Shuffles down the line. Gets depth on coverage. Looks lost in coverage at times. Gets tied up on blocker. Kion Wilson (South Florida) – 6000, 232, hands 10 1/8”. Quick to read and react. Instinctive and active in his play. Fills running lanes quickly. In pass coverage he has quick feet, turning ability and agility. Kavell Conner (Clemson) – 6003, 247. Active sideline to sideline player. Breaks up quickly on plays in front of him. Athletic and smooth in drops and coverage. Keaton Kristick (Oregon State) – 6024, 226, shorter arms (30 5/8”) than ideal to ward off blocks. Quick to read and react. Above average instincts and nose for the ball. Takes good angles to the ball. Can carry the tight end in coverage. Jason Beauchamp (UNLV) – 6025, 243, arms 33 1/8”. Good hustle to the perimeter. Active. Question instincts and plays at him. Late to fill at times.
