Draft Rewind 2006 - Chad Greenway - Minnesota Vikings

What Ourlads NFL Scouting Services said about CHAD GREENWAY: Iowa, 6024 242 4.76. Three-year starter. Good combination of power, speed, and athletic ability. Best coverage linebacker at Senior Bowl. Can cover backs, tight ends, and wide receivers in the slot. Good change of direction. Always around the ball. Every-down player. Good coverage on special teams. An athletic and rangy linebacker with sideline-tosideline speed. A physical player that runs through his tackles. A collision player with good lateral quickness. Can either run through the line or run the hump. Makes the play. Versatile enough to match up on the slot receiver as he did against Florida’s Chad Jackson and run with them man-to-man. Iowa is generally a zone team and Greenway is a solid zone player that breaks up quickly on plays in front of him. Instinctive. A disruptive player that is explosive and makes plays. Plays with reckless abandon. Has a tendency to play high, but can get under a blocker. Good knee bend. He does a good job of finding receiver inside with his hands. Keeps blockers off his legs and finishes play. Combine workout was average. Worked out well at Iowa’s pro day. First round pick. (A-31 1/4, H-9 1/8, BP-16, SS-4.22).
